As of today, January 25, 2021, the total number of Active Cases in the City of Parañaque is 127 (1.5%) including no address/unknown barangay and 13 new cases.

Total confirmed cases is now 8,567, while recovered patients are 8,219 (95.9%) and deaths have a total number of 221 (2.6%). According to the Department of Health (DOH), Parañaque City Health Office and Parañaque City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (CESU).

SINGLE-USE PLASTIC GUIDELINES

 

The City Environment and Natural Resources Office(CENRO) hand in hand with the Business Permits and Licensing Office (BLPO) will monitor the effective implementation of the Ordinance. This guidelines will help us learn more about alternatives that can be used.
 
The guidelines apply to all commercial establishments such as; Department store, shops ,boutiques, supermarkets, public markets, restaurants, hotels ,fast food chains, bars ,food stalls, mobile food carts, food caterings and other establishments.
 

“ACCEPTED”

 

REUSABLE BAGS
A. Made of cloth or other machine washable fabric.
B. With handles and clear labeled display of information “Reusable”.
C. Has a minimum lifetime of 125 uses.
 
REUSABLE PAPER BAGS
A. Paper bags with all sizes or without handles.
B. Including glossy gift bags with handles.
 
RECYCLABLE OR COMPOSTABLE DISPOSABLE FOOD CONTAINER AND SERVICE WARE
Containers and packaging made out of materials that are compostable such as aluminum, cardboard, glass, paper, recyclable plastics.

We would like to announce that this January 2021 we will continue the Implementation of City Ordinance 18-40 “Banning of Single-Use Plastics”. Implementation of the said ordinance was postponed this year 2020 because of the COVID -19 outbreak.

UPDATED GUIDELINES FOR BUSINESS OPERATIONS UNDER GENERAL COMMUNITY QUARANTINE (GCQ)
  • 12:00AM-4:00PM Violators will be apprehended
  • Home Quarantine Pass Requirement is Lifted
  • Operational Hours
    • Sari-Sari Stores, Palengke, Talipapa (6:00AM-6:00PM)
    • Dining/Restaurants (Dine-In 6:00AM-11:00PM, Delivery – 24 Hours, No Counter Service)
    • All other business establishments (6:00AM-11:00PM)
  • Dine-In Services shall be allowed at 50% Operational Capacity
  • Liquor Ban Lifted (Starting October 23, 2020, Selling and serving of Liquor allowed from 6:00AM-11:00PM only)
  • Mandatory of wearing of face shield and face mask in workplace, public transportation and other indoor public places shall be strictly enforced.
  • Strict Social Distancing must be observed at all times.
  • Compliance with rules and regulations as may be prescribed by the DOH

-Mandatory ang pag-suot ng Face Shield at Face Mask habang nasa loob ng:
*Work Place
*Public Transportation
*Indoor Public Place
 
-Nakasuot ang Face Shield at Face Mask sa tuwing makikipag-usap o makikipag halubilo sa katrabaho, kliyente o sinumang bisita.
 
-Maaari lamang tanggalin ang face shield kung ito ay kinakailangan sa partikular na gawain sa trabaho o kung kinakailangan sa occupational safety and health ng mga empleyado.
 
1st Offense – P1,000.00 + 8 hours Community Service/6 hours Detention
 
2nd Offense – P3,000.00 + 11 hours of Comunity Service/9 hours of Detention
 
3rd Offense – P5,000.00 + 14 hours of Community Service/12 hours of Detention
 

GUIDELINES FOR UNDAS 2020

Despite the resolute effort of government in stamping out this threat and the continued decrease in active cases, Parañaque City would like to appeal to each and every Parañaqueños sense of civic duty and discipline in following and respecting existing health protocols and restrictions being implemented within the city and its public spaces.

To further address the threat of COVID19 Pandemic, the City Government of Parañaque, led by the Local Task Force against COVID19 shall be implementing the following guidelines in line with the upcoming All Saints and All Souls Day 2020:

  • Schedule of controlled visits to Cemeteries and Memorial Parks
  • Seven-day closure of all Cemeteries and Memorial Parks
  • Local Government and Memorial Park Operations

We reiterate that these controlled nature of visitations to our departed love-ones are only temporary and by no means a curtailment of any rights. Moreover, these were put in place to safeguard general public health and safety as well as for the immediate and steadfast resolution of the current health crisis.
