Meeting for the Most Business-Friendly LGU Awarding 2018
The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) spearheads the annual search for the Most Business-Friendly Local Government Unit Award to commend LGUs that have become successful increating an environment that is conducive to business growth. The theme this year is “LGU’s Role in Building Competitiveness” to highlight LGU success stories and best practices that go beyond mere compliance to existing regulations.
As the largest business organization and representative of the private sector in the country, PCCI recognizes LGUs that have demonstrated outstanding efforts in instituting good governance reforms to promote trade and investments, transparency, accountability, and efficiency in delivering business services to generate inclusive and sustainable growth and fast track local economic development in their localities.
Last September 19, 2018, PCCI Parañaque headed by PCCI NCR Area Vice President, Mr. Pete Dumana Jr. with IPP Lolita Duria and EVP Rene Vicent Torralba set a meeting with the Atty. Melanie Malaya, head of Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) to discuss and help the LGU with its entry on the said search.
